What Our Partners Have to Say

Each of our projects and initiatives has led us on an incredible journey where our partners have reached out to help us make a difference.

World Food Programme Italy, the non-profit organization supporting WFP in Italy, collaborates with institutions, companies and individuals who want to contribute to achieve a Zero Hunger world and to support the activities of the World Food Programme. “The partnership with the Rotary Club Rome International allows WFP to continue feeding at school conflict affected children in Sri Lanka. We are proud of this collaboration that will have an impact over 2,000 children helping them to grow healthy and achieve their dreams. Only with the help of everyone we can reach #ZeroHunger.” Dott.ssa Tiziana dell’Orto, WFP Italia General Director

The “School meals program” of WFP guarantees food and education every year to almost 20 million children in the world’s poorest countries. Thanks to the important collaboration with  the Rotary Club Rome International, WFP can continue to help children in Sri Lanka for the next 2 years with the plan of a gradual handover of the programme to the government of Sri Lanka by 2020. Prof. Vincenzo Sanasi d’Arpe, WFP Italia President
